Transition from Azure CSP to Azure New Commerce Experience

By now you’ve probably heard of Azure Plan as an alternative Azure services procurement method. Transitioning services to Azure Plan is a seamless transition that requires zero downtime and can be initiated through the Synnex B2B portal.

Program changes for Azure

Moving to the new program is currently optional, however there are some key benefits to making the switch:

  • Cost management, allowing you to assess ongoing and current usage.
  • Ability to set budgets and alerts.

Potential financial impact

You should also be aware that as of the 1st of February 2022, Microsoft is withdrawing rebate and incentive eligibility from legacy (older) Azure services, restricting it only to Azure Plan based services.

What should I do?

For these reasons we’re encouraging all of our partners to start moving their services to Azure plan as early as possible.
